Additional Information
Informational guide of common needs that can be found while attending events in China.
Hotels
Traveling to China to attend trade fairs is associated with a number of formalities. We are aware that there are many such formalities and they can be overwhelming at times. That is why we have decided to help you with your accommodation reservation.
First of all, keep in mind that during the fairs the hotels in a certain city will be full, so you must make your reservation in advance. To find hotels, EBridge recommends Booking.com. The application allows you to book quickly, easily and safely.
In addition, we advise you what criteria to follow when choosing the right hotel.
First of all, it is worth checking the distance from the airport, the city center and the location of the fairgrounds to the hotel. Thousands of people come to the fair and getting around the city during this period is difficult. To avoid traffic jams, the location of the hotel is very important. When choosing, pay attention to the proximity of the metro station.
Second, some hotels offer free transportation to the trade fair or you can collect your event admission ticket after pre-registering with the hotel online. In addition, selected hotels have the option of airport transfer, which can also make getting around the city significantly easier, especially during the first trip to China.
It is also worth getting acquainted with the facilities offered by hotels for business travelers. For example, 24-hour reception, photocopier, fax, dry cleaning, possibility of ironing clothes and availability of conference rooms.

Transport
China has a modern transportation system. Generally, transportation in cities in China varies greatly from city to city. Many of the large metropolises have complex metro networks that, in many cases, are in the process of expansion.
In many cities the subway is the best way to get around, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Kunming.
Taxis (出租车) provide an essential means of transportation, they are the most comfortable way to get around.
Public bicycles are one of the best means of transportation in China to get around cities in short distances.

Internet access
The progress of telecommunications in China in recent times has been exceptional and rapid. Therefore, Internet access in China is very efficient and simple. In most exhibitions, WIFI access is free and fairly stable.
On the other hand, certain web pages, such as Google, Facebook, Twitter or YouTube, are not accessible in China. But there are other alternatives to these, such as Baidu.

Payment methods
Most ATMs in China can use Visa or Mastercard. However, a commission is charged when withdrawing cash. You should also be aware of the fact that additional fees may be charged for currency conversion.
The exchange of euros or dollars in banks in China is associated with a time-consuming process and requires the completion of the corresponding forms. Currency exchange at the airport is usually at a more unfavorable exchange rate.
On the other hand, in China payments are generally made with WeChat (微信) or Alipay (支付宝). Nevertheless, to use these forms of payment, we advise you to consult your personal bank.
