The successive 60 days after a person dies or is declared dead, if the successor does not renounce the inheritance, it will be considered that he has accepted it.
Any successor who, after the start of the succession, renounces the inheritance, must, before the disposition of the inheritance, indicate his resignation in writing.
If the successor does not indicate his intention to accept the inheritance within 60 days after the start of the succession, he will be deemed to have renounced the inheritance.
Who is the successor?
The collective economic organizations to which the deceased or his intestate successors belong, will be the legatees, as long as the will so records.
Intestate successors are spouses, children, parents, siblings, paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents of the deceased.
