At 10 a.m. on May 4, a meeting was held in the Great Hall of the People to commemorate the bicentennial of the birth of Marx.

   The meeting to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Marx’s birth was held in the Great Hall of the People.

   Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, chairman of the state, and chairman of the Central Military Commission attended the conference and delivered important speeches:
